The project uses “viral” exhibition methods to critique the contemporary art infrastructure and develop an audience that does not necessarily have access to contemporary visual art.
Using the boarded up window of an empty building at 66 Union Street, South London as an exhibition space images are temporary and transient. Left to the mercy of the elements and the passing public the images directly relate to the viewer by negating the systematic convention of gallery going and all its inherent inhibitions.
The exhibitions change every four weeks, with the artist acting as curator, gallery 'owner' and artistic arbiter.
66 Union Street, Southwark, London.
